Cool New Gadgets-Gyrobike-for safe cycling
Posted by itispals under New & Just In , New Tech News , cool new gadgetsGyroBike, a spin-off out of Dartmouth College, is coming out later this year or early next year with a gyroscope/flywheel that fits into the front wheel of a kid’s bike. Gyrobike claims its like Invisible Training Wheels for kids when they need to learn cycling. A cycle fitted with gyroscope, which would cost approximately 39$, would ensure that when a child begins to go off-balance and fall over, the gyroscope corrects the path of the bike and props it back up. So there wouldn’t be the need for training wheels. The primary difference between training wheels and gyroscope is that while training wheels helps kids from falling, it doesn’t teach kids about balance. Where as Gyroscope does that valuable part.Training wheels may become history if gyroscope becomes famous. Already Gyrobike is in discussion with six largest manufacturers of kids’ cycles.
