Just when we were about to end the Year 2006, this news of Saddam Hussein been hanged comes as a shock. Yes Saddam Hussein is dead. Saddam Hussein was executed  at an undisclosed location in the early hours of IRAQ. We at buckleupnow have been following the Saddam Hussein’s Trial and every one across the world for sure knows that the trial can never be fair. So it was very much sure even before the verdict came most were very sure that Saddam Hussein would be executed. So saddam hussein and his death penalty was something every one expected, but the issue here is the rest of the world couldnt do anything and were just mute spectators. This occupation of IRAQ and the war in IRAQ just goes to show that UN is totally ineffective. Saddam Hussein can be a cruel person, but the death penalty and the hanging of Saddam Hussein is surely not the solution for the problem. Today so many Iraqi civilians are getting killed every day, after US took over administration. So how is US going to answer this? Will president BUSH take responsibility for this act of killings in IRAQ? Will he face the trial like Saddam Hussein?

We are not supporting the acts of Saddam Hussein. Nor can we support the act of USA. It is very much unfortunate that the world does not have a policy on how to deal with leaders who do crime against their civilians. We more over feel the timing of this execution is bad.
We mourn the death of Saddam Hussein, considering him as the premier of IRAQ,who had kept his country intact. His methods may have been cruel, yet it does not justify the invasion of a foreign country. Can UN answer?
