Walt Disney which holds ABC Radio operates the KSFO 560 talk radio station in San Francisco, USA, which is broadcast on 560 AM frequency. (SFO is just representative of San Francisco, which stands for the San Francisco Airport). Electronic Frontier Foundation(eff) is not for profit body which works to protect digital rights. Spocko is  a blogger in this world wide web. It is this KSFO 560 AM from Bay Area is caught in a controversy. Yes Spocko the blogger has been wagging a single handed battle against ABC Radio, which has irked Walt Disney. The group, which symbolises entertainment and fun, has not been able to take Spocko’s criticism in a light manner. The reason is that because of Spocko’s effort some of the advertisers have stopped promoting KSFO 560 AM talk-show, which actually was the starting point for this issue. It is learnt from MediaPost that  “Spocko posted several audio files on his site, so visitors could hear the hosts for themselves. He also began writing letters to the station’s advertisers, condemning their support of KSFO; he says that some of the advertisers have stopped promoting on the station”. Here is the sample comment which made spocko to start the battle against KSFO560 AM Talk show “Consider, this summer, host Melanie Morgan called for New York Times editor Bill Keller to be executed for having okayed the paper’s expose on governments’ attempt to suss out financial records of suspected terrorists. “I really do believe that anybody who publishes classified information that results in a charge of treason should be fried! Fry ‘em! Trial, conviction, death penalty!” she said this summer, according to Salon”

ABC has responded to Spocko’s criticism with a letter to him and his ISP, accusing him of violating copyright violations of the show, as he had used the files in his blog. So the ISP has removed his site, though SPOCKO was not inclined to remove. Now Support for spocko is gaining momentum in the Internet Democracy and Electronic Frontier Foundation has decided to support Spocko in his cause.

All this just goes to prove one point. No matter whether you are an Individual or an organization, no matter whether you are rich or poor, still honest views can be expressed through Internet, which just goes to show the power of Internet Democracy. If Spocko emerges victor, the democratic power of Internet will be proved to the world.
