Mobile VCast TV from verizon wireless offers viewers full-length and live programming from a number of networks, including NBC, CBS, Fox and MTV. MediaFlo is a dedicated video broadcast network owned by Qualcomm and Mobile VCast TV, which is the first mobile television service from verizon wireless uses MediaFlo. Very soon Cingular wireless from AT&T would also provide Mobile TV services using MediaFlo.
Mobile VCast TV would be a Live TV on Mobile that comes with you, where ever you go. You have a program guide and reminders would also be sent to your mobile as a reminder. The claim is that this service requires no buffering and so you can surf the channel comfortably.
So from March, Mobile usage in USA is never going to be the same.

XLamp XR-C LEDs give lighting designers the flexibility and performance to create the next generation of LED lighting products.
Now this product from USA is to find its place in Guangzhou, China. It is the award winning XLamp XR-E power LEDs that are to be installed in the streets of Guangzhou. Multi-Cell Semiconductor Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. (Multi-Cell) has forged a tie up with CREE Inc for this purpose. The solar panels of Multi-Cell’s streetlights sit on top of the streetlamp.These lights would produce 70 lumens per watt. These solar powered LEDs are more energy efficient than compact fluorescent lamps thus helping save lot more energy.
Though this is a low scale attempt, if this project proves to be a success and results in great energy saving then it is very much sure that XLamp would become a preferred choice for street lighting.
