RevolutionHealth is the new portal on health, which tries to compete with sites like WebMD, Yahoo Health and MayoClinic. RevolutionHealth is from AOL Founder Steve Case, who eyes the pharmaceutical Industry’s Online Spend. Health is one segment for which people use internet extensively and sites like WebMD, MayoClinic and Yahoo Health have already built a huge credibility by their authentic information. Sources indicate that as of 2006, 5 percent of the pharmaceutical industry’s marketing dollars are spent on online advertising. This figure is expected to grow higher in the coming years and it is for this that the RevolutionHealth is making its presence felt.

The RevolutionHealth Site looks cool and the user interface is definitely user friendly. When we looked at some articles, we find that even MayoClinic has contributed articles to RevolutionHealth, which may be a competitor. Right Now RevolutionHealth may just be making its begining and only as time goes by we could say whether RevolutionHealth can really make deep inroads and capture attention of the information seekers.
