Started in 1998, Wharton Business Plan Competition (WBPC), is one among the leading global university-run business plan competitions. WBPC helps aspiring entrepreuners realize their dreams. It helps to nurture the dream by allowing the participant to develop their plans in a collaborative environment. These dreamers get their guidance from wharton entrepreneurship professors and Wharton graduates who have started their own businesses. So it is just like learning from the leaders. The prize money this time was $70,000 and this amount is shared winners. The competition was open for all students at the University of Pennsylvania.
