My college mate has been looking to buy a good car and has been evaluating for the past one month. Since he has returned from US, he was also keen to opt for a vehicle with “Automatic” Gears. If i am right, we have only Honda and i10 in these categories. Today i saw an attractive ad for “New Hyundai Verna” in Yahoo, which also had the word “Automatic in the ad”. So, I was tempted to click the ads to learn more about the vehicle. Here is the landing page that i came across:
This particular landing page is trying to follow the best practices of not providing too many links. Restrict your visitor from clicking too many links. Absolutely fine. If so, there design team should have worked to have removed the Top Navigation
which doesn’t take the user anywhere.
Especially when some one is keen to know something more about the “CAR”, since the landing page rests in http://www.zenithoptimediaindia.com/zed/Hyundai_Zed/Verna_Feb09/Hyundai_Verna_Feb09.aspx?web=Yahoo, it doesn’t take the user to “hyundaiverna.co.in”
Just sharing my views on Landing Page Optimization Issues that one can come across…..and this is a classic example in the Indian Environment…
