Dear Murli,
It is true that you have tried implementing SEO in your site with your basic knowledge. Here is the issue.

Though you have worked on the “Title” tags, they don’t adhere to the best practices guidelines. Again the copy don’t indicate to Google for which it has to be indexed. Your Body Copy has to be completed revamped. Let me explain it to you with an example from your website:
http://www.infotrans.co.in/software_development_india.html
This page talks of Software Development, while your page title indicates “Web Designing India”, “Web Designers Mumbai”. Google will be confused to index this page and if you are expecting results for the keywords “Web Designing India”, “Web Designers Mumbai”, you will definitely not get them. Assuming the keyword “Web Designers Mumbai” worked perfectly and fetched visitors to this page, still the visitors don’t get to see anything about “Web Designers Mumbai” in that page. Naturally they will be forced to exit. Only a fraction may visit other pages of your website and try understanding your site. Hope you are now able to get the point.

So all you require is a guidance on how to implement SEO properly for your website.

Thanks,Palani

My college mate has been looking to buy a good car and has been evaluating for the past one month. Since he has returned from US, he was also keen to opt for a vehicle with “Automatic” Gears. If i am right, we have only Honda and i10 in these categories. Today i saw an attractive ad for “New Hyundai Verna” in Yahoo, which also had the word “Automatic in the ad”.  So, I was tempted to click the ads to learn more about the vehicle. Here is the landing page that i came across:

This particular landing page is trying to follow the best practices of not providing too many links. Restrict your visitor from clicking too many links. Absolutely fine. If so, there design team should have worked to have removed the Top Navigation

which doesn’t take the user anywhere.

Especially when some one is keen to know something more about the “CAR”,  since the landing page rests in http://www.zenithoptimediaindia.com/zed/Hyundai_Zed/Verna_Feb09/Hyundai_Verna_Feb09.aspx?web=Yahoo, it doesn’t take the user to “hyundaiverna.co.in”

Just sharing my views on Landing Page Optimization Issues that one can come across…..and this is a classic example in the Indian Environment…
