Second Life symbolises virtual world on Net. It is creating an alternate world altogether for adults and teens, though both have a marked distinction. That is Teens cannot enter the adults world while adults cannot enter the Teen’s world. Second Life has also been creating waves for the kind of education opportunities it has been giving for the corporate employees. when we were just feeling that every thing was going on smoothly at Second Life, the introduction of CopyBot has raised severe protests.  The protest, first of its kind in this virtual world, just showcases that what ever happens in the real world can happen in the virtual universe too. We have got the images of this protest from CNET, so for those who are interested, take a look at the novel protest. So if the readers are wondering why is that the users are protesting and threatening to leave, just as the name suggest, CopyBot, is a software tool that allows anyone to copy any piece of content in the virtual world. So definitely it is natural to expect agitation, but how did the creators of Second Life allow CopyBot at the first place? Didn’t they foresee such a reaction? or is it a ploy to generate attention? Whatever it is, unless Second Life creators react fast, it is sure to create unrest among the users.
